We got our first Misfits Market box delivered today. All organic veggies / fruit. It’s totally worth the $22 plus $5.50 shipping (flat shipping fee, by the way). I promised our good friend Cindy that I would do an unboxing video – so here it is!
I am so pleased and would definitely recommend the service. If you sign-up, go through this link https://www.misfitsmarket.com/?promo=COOKWME-PM9SOX – you will get $10 off of your first order. (And Mr. Gordon and I will ALSO get $10 off on our next order because you went through this link!) 🙂
The video is a tad long (sorry) and I say “perfectly fine” a lot (sorry). But again, this is not just a great deal, it’s RESCUING good food from going to a landfill. Let us know what you think and if you try out the service, too!
What about you?

Where To Next in the December Blog Drop Series?
- The Topic of Conversation
- This is what’s been keeping me busy.
- I still love my chickens.
- The harvest was not good. (Or, we’d starve this winter if we didn’t have a grocery store.)
Yes, we’ve been receiving the Misfits boxes for several months. It really is a great deal when you consider that everything is organic and local-ish. Now that the boxes can be customized, it’s even better!
Enjoy your bounty!
p.s. There is a lot of packaging, but it’s all compostable. There is rarely any plastic wrapping included. A big bonus in my mind.
Hi Daisy! I am definitely loving the Mischief Box. The lettuce kept for days. I did give the chickens the Roma Tomatoes because we weren’t going to eat them in time, but everything else is keeping so well. Definitely worth it. 😀
(And you’re right – it is local-ish! Another plus!)
