Some photos. It’s been snowing. It’s been blowing. It’s been cold.
Photos taken with my Canon PowerShot SX530 HS Camera.

About Tracy
1 of 2 in the Finger Lakes! Goal: Turn 2 lovely acres into lush veggie and fruit gardens, while raising our happy chickens!
great photos Tracy! And I especially love the sign on the chicken coop! I hope you all are staying warm. I’m worried about the girls, but so far so good.
It’s been brutal, Kristin. I just went out to close up the chicken door to the coop (we opted to not put in an auto-door) and it is bone cold. We’ve been hitting low teens and even single digits. I’m worried about upcoming predicted wind chills of 1, 2, and 3 degrees. I’m at odds of whether to keep them shut in the coop – which they will hate. Once I open that door, they want to be out. I would really consider keeping them shut in but we moved the water out of the coop to avoid any crazy spillage during the night. So I don’t know what’s the best choice. (sigh) Just taking it one day at a time!
I hope you, the Mister, and your furry and feathered family members keep warm and safe! (Thanks for the kudos on the sign – Mr. Gordon made it for us.)
Snow! I’m jealous of your snow…but not the super below freezing temps. I don’t know that we’ll get a snow day here in the PNW or not this year. We’ll see. I hope you have found a way to keep your ladies warm and toasty.
We’re doing our best at keeping warm. one of the challenges has been keeping their water “warm” enough to prevent freezing. We’re trying yet another new heated waterer as of this weekend. We’re still stuck in a stretch of teens and twenties. Ugh!
Hope you get to enjoy a lovely winter’s end into spring on your new homestead, Bekah!
Your header is stunning! I love taking pictures of the snow. It is so magical, so mesmerizing. Hope y’all are staying toasty!
Thank you, Daisy! (blushing)
We are doing well, but boy it is so cold! Hope you and yours are both healthy and safe, too!
