While Mr. Gordon cleaned out our gardens with the flame thrower, I decided to grab the video camera and capture the abundance we brought in this weekend. Time has flown by! Now we are down the last of this year’s harvest.
Pickling green tomatoes are the plan. And pickling celery. Why not? 🙂 And those leeks? Right into the Salmon Leek Potato soup (recipe here). Life is good!

Hmm. I’ve had potato leek soup on the mind lately and now I’m intrigued by the salmon leek potato soup! I might just have to try that very soon.
And do you pickle the celery separately? Or is it just used in the green tomatoes?
