Our garden is definitely growing! It’s been a hot summer, so we upped our watering and that has made a big difference. We are watering in the early morning and in the late evening.
Right now I am in love with our Ruby Queen Beets.
Aren’t they pretty?
The Black Beauty Zucchini plant on the end is becoming huge!
Next up, our vining Amish Paste Tomatoes are getting quite thick. We are trying to guide them up the supports Gordon built, but because I planted them pretty close together, they are a bit of a challenge!
The Double Yield Cucumbers are starting to thrive. We see flowers! Also in the same row, Rutgers Tomatoes – needing to be watered at the time of this photo!
Here we have our Ideal Market Beans beating out the Corn and the Purple Podded Peas in the race to the top of the pole guides.
And finally… a little harvest! I’m thinking beets and zucchini for dinner!
