Growing Parents in the Garden (and American Gothic)

My parents came for a visit this weekend.

We had such fun showing them our garden. I think they were surprised at what we’ve accomplished this first year! We snapped a photo of them by the corn.

On another note…

A week ago we had a bunch of fun at a local agricultural fair and spent a good part of the day walking through barns, watching the pig races (so cute!), eating fair food, and posing for a photo.
