Hello, folks!
We have been incredibly busy with our j-o-b-s, and then busy trying to play home and garden (and canning and freezing) catch up. We hope you have been enjoying an abundant harvest as the 2019 gardening season comes to an end. We’ll be sharing more in the upcoming weeks (hopefully!) but in the meantime, please enjoy the video we put together this afternoon. Mr. Gordon has been cleaning out the Upper and Lower gardens this weekend. Here’s a video clip of the new tool he picked up this year to help with the task: A flame thrower. Like this one:

😀 Enjoy
WELL DONE! Okay. Where do I start? 476 pounds of produce from the garden?!?! That is fantastic! And I love the flame thrower. I think that’s one tool I could definitely get behind. Interesting about the mice and having grass in the garden. I wouldn’t have thought about that. So it sounds like you have a good plan for next year with the ground cloth and mulch.
And you really need to teach me how to edit videos and make them as nice as yours. I am so clueless when it comes to editing. I have a footage of me teaching how to make lip balms but it needs to be edited. All I have is iMovie. One day I’ll sit down and do it, but it’s going to be a struggle for sure!
Well done, once again, Gordon and Tracy!!
Isn’t that number crazy, Kristin? And we haven’t even harvested the turnips yet. (Okay, that poundage won’t be so much, but still…)
Mr. Gordon is loving that flame thrower. Men (boys!) and their toys. But I do see this one as particularly handy!
Video – editing: I have a REALLY old computer, so I am just using the program that came on it called Movie Maker. It’s okay to use. It’s serving it’s purpose. I just kept practicing until I got a bit of a handle on it. My one piece of advice for editing and publishing videos for “business” is this: if you are using the same opening and closing (music, images, credits, etc.), make a template and each time you put together a new video, use the template and drop the new video clip in. WAY easier than trying to start from scratch each time.
Hey, let us know if you get a YouTube channel up! 🙂
