How are you doing in your planning for the holidays?
Are you all set, finishing up, or running behind?
I’ve been in all three situations at one time or another. Today, though, I’m staying in and finishing the last touches in preparation for the holiday. As you can see from the photo, the orange – coffee liquor is ready.
(The recipe can be found in home cook Laura Calder’s book, French Taste. You can also find the recipe here: http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipe/44/8274/ – but keep in mind it takes 44 days to make!)
We’re so looking forward to a quiet but happy Christmas here in our new home. All the cards have been sent, the presents are wrapped, the tree is up, and the all the supplies for the holiday feasting have been purchased. My my my… I do feel prepared for Christmas this year! (Let’s hope that continues!) My parents are planning on coming in on Christmas Eve and they will spend the night – ham dinner at noon!
So Happy Holidays to you and yours, and may we all know peace, love, prosperity, and joy in the coming year!
