A fellow deer needs to explain to this one that “humans aren’t really who you should be hanging out with.”
(Two posts up this weekend… this one and also Assortment, March.)

Oh, look – deer!
Well, hello there!
We drove away before she could come any closer. We didn’t want her near the road even though we were driving through the park and the speed limit is low. This type of behavior is pretty unusual, actually. They aren’t overly afraid of humans in the park, but they don’t try to get up close and personal!
What a cutie! Hope you are well.
We are indeed doing okay, Bekah! How was your trip earlier this year? I must stop by your blog to see if you added a new post!
So cute! And good idea to drive away before she came any closer to the road.
It was quite a surprise, Kristin. I just clicked my tongue to get them to look up. Apparently in deer-speak I inadvertently called her over! I finally said to Mr. Gordon, “let’s go before she gets any closer to the road!”
