Well, this was different.
I’ve never experienced a brownout here or anywhere else, for that matter. Just down the road from us, the Geese dine in the farmer’s field, fattening themselves on leftover corn. Backsides swinging to and fro, sovereign in the way they saunter across the bent, golden stalks.
