Today, a walk along Canandaigua Lake with my new Christmas present from Mr. Gordon:
A Canon PowerShot SX530 HS.
(I don’t do New Year’s resolutions anymore and I’m not exactly about the “word of the year” trend, but if I had a word of the year for 2020, it would be: Vision. So there you have it… a new photography section here at GardenCookEatRepeat.com.)

fantastic! I knew when I saw the first photo that you MUST be using your new Christmas present. What a lovely way to spend the day.
PS I think my word for 2020 is balance.
Thank you, Kristin! 😀
I love your word for 2020. Balance can be a tough discipline, especially among high-achievers! (Nudge nudge, I think you know who I am talking about here!)
Ooooo… You could do a photography theme of “Balance” throughout the year!
Here’s to us both having vision and finding balance in 2020!
Ahhhh….I love your images! Very pretty!! 🙂
And I have been curious about that camera.
I am looking for something between my phone and my DSLR
that I can just toss in my bag for those “in between times”.
🙂
(my word for 2020 is ignite….)
Ignite is a FANTASTIC word! Very creative, too. I love it, GKGirl.
The camera has been an exciting new tool for me. I haven’t had a “real camera” in years. Mostly I’ve just used my iPhone, which was fine. But this is very exciting for me.
My husband talked to one of his high-tech-y friends who uses a lot of different cameras. He suggested that this make and model might be a good one for me to start with. I haven’t been out a lot yet (we’ve) had a bunch of wet weather), but I do take it everywhere with me. I can’t wait to get into the garden with it this coming season!
Thank you for coming by my post! 😀
